Sean D. Curran was born and raised in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. Sean graduated from The Hill School ’84, Tulane University ’88, and Dickinson School of Law ’91. Sean started as a general practitioner involved in corporate, environmental, civil litigation, and real estate and later as in-house counsel for two separate technology firms.
Sean transitioned to Estate and Elder Law to realize a more purposeful career in assisting families to navigate through the confusing rules and regulations related to developing a successful estate plan, protecting assets, and getting the best affordable care. Sean educates all of his clients on the issues and options relating to the increasing costs of long-term care in my planning. Sean founded Curran Estate & Elder Law in 2014.
Sean is a member of the Life Care Planning Law Firm Association, the premier nationwide Life Care Planning group that provides state-of-the-art tools, training, and support resources to lawyers so that they can provide the highest quality service to their clients. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the National and Pennsylvania Associations of Elder Law Attorneys (“NAELA” and “PAELA’), the Berks County Bar Association, the Berks County Estate Planning Council, as well as other community groups.
